A Jordanian couple have got married with the bride asking the groom to pledge giving her 65 heads of Syrian soldiers as her dowry, as a sign of support to the Syrian opposition.
Jordanian media reported on Tuesday that the 50-year old bride, Amsha Fawaera, had said that she would only marry Ibrahim Ramlat if he agreed to bring her 15 heads belonging to Syrian soldiers as a prepayment of her dowry.
Ibrahim should bring 50 more heads whenever she asked for them, or in case of a divorce, according to their bloody deal.
The groom, which is a pro-Syrian opposition militant, hasn't hesitate to accept his bride's condition.
A number of guests signed their marriage document as witnesses to the deal, the reports said.
Radical beliefs and extremism has been a common feature among militant groups fighting to overthrow the Syrian government.
A British defense study in 2013 showed that some 100,000 militants, fragmented into 1,000 groups, are fighting in Syria against the government and people.
The extracts of the study by defense consultancy IHS Jane's were published on September 16.
IHS Jane's estimates that some 10,000 militants are fighting for groups affiliated with al-Qaeda such as al-Nusra Front and the rest fight for different militant groups.
Syria sank into war in March 2011, when pro-reform protests turned into a massive insurgency following the intervention of Western and regional states.
According to reports, more than 150,000 people have been killed and a total of 7.8 million of others displaced due to the violence.
